Manchester City are interested in Italy international Gianluigi Donnarumma as Pep Guardiola sees the Azzurri captain as a potential replacement for Ederson.
Reliable Italian sources Sky Sport Italia and Gazzetta claim City are interested in Italian goalkeeper Donnarumma.
La Gazzetta dello Sport first reported on Monday alongside other English media and Sky Sport Italia confirmed the news on Monday afternoon.
According to Gazzetta, Donnarumma is tempted to join City. His contract in Paris runs out in June 2026 but talks over a new deal are stalling, not to mention that the Ligue 1 giants have also signed another goalkeeper, Matvei Safonov, who may rival Gigio for a starting spot in 2024-25.
According to Sky Sport Italia Donarumma is among the goalkeepers mentioned by Guardiola to potentially replace Ederson, who may move to the Saudi Pro League this summer.
Italy captain Donnarumma conceded 112 goals in 113 appearances with PSG.
He joined the Ligue 1 giants on a free transfer from Milan in the summer of 2021.
