“Ngozi Sonia Okobi-Okeoghene is a dynamic, offensively minded player with a wealth of experience at the highest levels of the game,” Kristina Kiss told the club’s official website.
“Her strong 1 vs. 1 attacking abilities make her a constant threat on the ball, and her sharp decision-making ensures she’s always creating dangerous opportunities for her team.”
The attacking midfielder started her professional career with American club Washington Spirit in 2015.
She also played in Sweden for Vittsjö Gymnastik and Eskilstuna United.

Okobi is like a trojan.
Shaking off the disappointment of being left out of the SF quad to some of the biggest women’s football fiestas of recent, she took a break for the labor room and is now back on the field in a major soccer league.
Though age is not on her side, and Waldrum clearly favored youth over experience, we missed her commanding presence and incisive passes in the middle of the pack for the SF.
