A bold, fantastic and very ambitious move by China Akpom. I pray he reaches even higher levels at Ajax than he attained at Middleborough, and bangs in a lot of goals with plenty of assists in this league.
I am quite happy with most of the transfer of Nigerian players in this summer. It has been largely upward moves by the likes of Samuel Chukwueze, Victor Boniface, Kelechi Nwakali, Adams Akor, and now Chuba Akpom, among others. Even the likes of Troost-Ekong, Leon Balogun and Cyriel Dessers made decent moves considering where they were before. We are now waiting to see Gift Orban make his own big move, and what Kelechi Iheanacho and Wilfred Ndidi will do with their careers.
The latest one is Etebo to a team in LaLiga which apparently,is the most important one for me.We need Etebo’s engine and experience in the World Cup qualifiers,we lack options in the midfield but the upward movement of Etebo,Nwakali will help improve the super eagles, especially in the midfield.
The only problem we may face is Mr Gusau and his pro home base agenda. That fella has not finished with us yet!May God rescue Nigeria from these men!
Etebo’s move to Spain is not concluded yet, but we hope it materialises, and he gets back to playing regularly and playing well too. We can also see more of Michael Folorunsho in the Serie A now that Napoli has loaned him to Hallas Verona. As for NFF, it is high time football enthusiasts in Nigeria embark on protest to shake them up. They are Nigeria football’s biggest problem.
The best among the lots of Nigeria players that transfer to another clubs this season is Chukwueze. It is not a small feat to be playing for the most successful club in Europe after Real Madrid.
Congratulations @Cakpom.
Akpom played no.10 all through last season with Boro and he affirmed that he fancy no. 10 position the most. He can play that position for super Eagles’ if Peseiro really knows what he wants.
Guys, If I am super Eagles’ coach today, I will cap Orban tomorrow even if super eagles don’t have match that tomorrow…if you really know how to watch football you will know that the guy is a special talent.
I can also play Boniface from 11 if I decided to go with 4231 formation because that guy has speed, cuts in and love shooting in that manner with his Right Leg. But if I feel to operate 442,I will never hesitate to pair him with Osimehn up front but Osimehn a little ahead of him. He holds the ball, dribbles better than Osimehn and can also assist Osimehn in that order.
I will stop inviting a non serious cum arrogant players like iheanacho.
Orban can also play in the no.10 role just behind Osimehn. He can also operate from 11 as an inverted winger. He plays freekicks Better Than over-rated Simon.
Unless Terem Moffi perform wonderfully well I will not invite him because I hate players who do not really fancy an upward movement…I will NEVER choose a lowly Nice ahead of West Ham and Mareille not even when I have the opportunity to showcase myself in the champions’ leagues.
Aribo? Hmm.. you know what this means?
If I’m the coach. For that nations cup dead rubber against São Tomé, a country that we’ve ones defeated 10-1 before. I’ll try out new players.
-I heard Torunarigha’s paper is ready, therefore, he’ll come in for Omeruo.
– Ebuehi and Osigwe will be invited,
-Onyedika for Indidi.
-Yusuf for Onyeka.
-Tella for Musa
– Akpom for Aribo.
-Orban for Iheanacho
And Victor Boniface for Osimhen or Simon ‘cos I’ll like Osimhen to add to his goals it’s a shame as most naija strikers have been struggling to break just 35 goals set by Yekini for years.
They will be invited, not because those I replaced are bad but because they are too comfortable.
Correction.. Alhassan Ibrahim for Onyeka.****
Correct @ Sean
