India’s MS Dhoni says he doesn’t mind where he bats in the order – just as long as it helps the team. Dhoni won the man-of-the-series award as India secured a maiden ODI series victory in Australia after easing to a seven-wicket win in the third match at Melbourne.

Dhoni, who hit an unbeaten 87 from 114 balls after coming in at four, has been up and down the order, but the former skipper says he is not bothered where he plays. “I am happy to bat at any number,” said Dhoni. “The important thing is where the team needs me. “Whether I play at four or six, we need to see if the team balance can be retained. I’m happy to bat lower down at six if needed.”
