Cyriel Dessers got a very good rating for his impressive performance in Rangers’ 2-0 win against Malmo in the Europa League on Thursday.
Dessers contributed to Rangers’ opening goal scored by Nedim Bajrami scored inside a minute.
Bajrami got on the score sheet, slotting the rebound into an empty net after Dessers seized onto a back-pass and hit the post.
The Super Eagles striker went close on several occasions to register a goal but was unlucky not to score.
Following his superb display, Ibrox News rated Dessers seven out of 10.
Commenting on Dessers’ impressive performance, Ibrox News wrote: “The best of Dessers and the worst of Dessers. Strong away striker’s performance in Europe ultimately, which was needed without Hamza Igamane available off the bench but could have been so much more.
“None of the strongest chances would have happened without his input as he played a key role in plenty of build-up play, but probably should have scored a hat-trick. The opener should have been his after sharp work to steal the loose ball and round the keeper, and overcomplicated on one occasion when well placed on the edge of the box, before a bad miss in the second half.
“Also had a decent penalty shout ignored when having his shirt wrestled off him and the combination work with Bajrami was a very encouraging sign.“

NFF will never invite him because he does not pay like other unfit players
Invite to go where? and do what? Kai! PMSL
invite where? and do what?
The best striker we have at the moment for the Super Eagles.
If we have to be honest with ourselves, Dessers is ahead of all the strikers we have now based on his scoring ratio and his level of consistency.
But will NFF and Eguavoen will invite Dessers? The chances are very slim.
Is he not a Nigerian? But the only difference is that Kolawole can not share his money with Eguavoen and NFF.
NFF fear God oooo. We need Dessers Kolawole available for the Afcon and World Cup qualifiers period. Ire o. God bless Nigeria!!!
