Super Eagles striker, Cyriel Dessers, has expressed his determination to gain the trust of Rangers fans in the Scottish Premier League.
The Nigerian international was unhappy with the team’s 2-1 loss to Aberden in the league on Wednesday
He had an off night in front of goal but wasn’t helped by his teammates who created little in the way of clear cut chances.
However, in a chat with Daily Record, Dessers insisted that Rangers will bounce back in the Premier Sports Cup semi-final on Sunday.

“Obviously, they travelled all the way here to support us again so I can understand them. They want to see us win, they want to see us compete, they want to see us on the top of the table. We’re not there yet and hopefully we can start fighting back now and give them something to be more happy about.
“It’s extremely difficult and painful. Obviously, it (Aberdeen) was a big game, so you arrive here with some expectations, and to walk off the pitch with a loss really hurts.
“The good and the bad thing about Rangers is the games follow very quickly. On Sunday, again, we have a huge game to go to our third cup final in a row, that would be something massive.
“But yeah, I think with the result and the frustration, the pain of today, I think that game becomes even bigger. But that’s okay. We know we need to bounce back and I think we will.”

I feel sad that a quality striker of Dessers status will be manipulated into wanting to prove his worth to Rangers of Scotland. Boy’s timid temperament is a weak link that has never helped him know his worth no wonder he keeps moving down instead of above from Seria A to this league yet he’s bent on proving Tom and dick that he can score instead of doing your job or jump the ship if it doesn’t work out.
