this guy said he will score… and he did. impressive
Superb winning goal by Club Brugge. That was a real team goal.
Fantastic build up to the goal itself.
One thing about Dennis that I like is that he gives you EVERYTHING on the pitch. He plays with heart, and fights hard for his team. A real team player. One time during this game, I saw him tracking back from his attacking position. Running approximately half the length of the whole pitch, he pursued the Zenith player he was marking like a hungry wolf, right into Club Brugge’s 18 yard box, and it was him that eventually made the tackle that stopped that Zenith player from having a tap in. As Dennis lay exhausted on the pitch, I couldn’t help but admire his effort. This is the kind of effort coaches love to see from their players.
His goal was also a result of his never-say-die attitude. Chasing down a ball others would have given up, he somehow found a way to square the ball into the box, and after his team mate failed to convert, he followed up to smash home the rebound.
Keep it up, Dennis. Well played.
We haven’t seen the best of him yet.I maintain that the hype of him is not empty. He must be that good to receive that kind of hype. He’s very flabounyant and a big game player.
Whoever just watched the 2nd goal Club Brugge scored…thats what we call inplay attacking tactics. this is where Rohr is lacking. Under Rohr, we would not score enough goals. Alot of times, Chukwueze was in that position, we didnt do anything with it. No movement from the attackers!!
Wetin concern rohr concern this game now..na was o..if say u sabi coach u for they there instead of rohr..
@Edoguy
useless talk and analysis….
Club brugge scored a goal at in-play as u claim….
Where were u when SE scored against ZAMBIA at UYO?
Where were u when we scored against England at Wembly?
Where were u when we scored the 2nd and the 3rd goal against CAMEROUN at AFCON?
Didn’t u witness the first goal we scored against UKRAIN?
How about the one we scored against BRAZIL?
U want to pretend as if u didn’t see IWOBI’S goal against ARGENTINA?
(just the few i can recall)
How did they score all this goals?
Was it by corner kicks?
Was it by PK?
Did they shoot from outside 18 box and score?
B4 u continue spewing ur thrash, pls rewatch the goals SE score against these teams….
“… We don’t score plenty goals under Rohr…”
but stats has it that SE has atleast 1.40 per game….
Keep spewing the content of ur heart”@HATRED”…..
Meanwhile ROHR till 2022….
I quite agree with Edoguy on this assertion. Gernot Rohr is too old to handle our national team. There are young and vibrant European coaches who understands tactical rudiments of modern football philosophy.
Like you that knows it all..quick to talk slow to act
Denis never bribe chief scout, so them no go invite am, Denis is a senior sriker, you cant compare him with other striker in super eagle, his a matured and experience denger man, his a tireless striker, his not the type of striker that wait for Midfielder to provide for him, thats why i like Ronaldo de lima, he track back to midfield and follow other build acttack.
Denise is quality, not a pinch of doubt about that. His time will definitely come as long as he remains focus. One thing about his game is, he plays with great intensity, with tireless runs. He is fearless and always a big game player. If he manages to add more goals, his dream of moving to a top club will definitely materialize.
That is where you continue to reveal yourself as a failed footballer who is fast becoming a failed pundit. Dennis already has goals to his name. Moreover he doesn’t need the advice of a vampire like you. Your mates are on television doing proper punditry, you are here spewing rubbish as usual. Worthless piece of shit that you are.
Bro, pls let @Glory be, This your beef with him is becoming rather childish. We are all hailing the heroics of Dennis, let it remain so.
No worries bro. There is a truce. Do enjoy your time on this platform.
Great one Lil bro, more grace, goals n assist to ur profile.
Yes he did well scored fantastic goal but his time will surely come he is still a Nigeria player. If we keep inviting every player everytime they score goal it means the team will be changing every time. Cos he scored now next thing is that chukwueze and Kalu is a bad winger and sud not be invited again does that make sense? That is why I asked d other time that ” U na get sense at all”
Dennis can play as a striker or behind a striker,we could play him behind Osimhen or in the case Osimhen is not available he could play alongside Iheanacho as a twin striker.
Meanwhile,I am of the opinion our best options especially in the attack are yet to be unearthed. The ones our coach trusted failed to spark in the last international break, with all this attackers springing up we need to maximise this great opportunity and build a solid team and that can only be achieved not just with those who makes headlines but those who are able to flourish with the super eagles.
This igbekun About, what is wrong with you sef,is everything someone says you must attack? You no de tire?you are becoming annoying seriously!
Don’t be offended Frank. I have utmost respect for you and that is not about to change.
Please bruh @Igbekun Abo it takes one person with a more mature mind to call a dispute, doesn’t necessarily shows weakness rather strength in my opinion.
Yourself and Glory needs a truce to end this hostilities and attacks which is on going for a while, please a respite is needed because this is disturbing for forum members and thousands of daily readers,as well disrespectful to Complete Sports a revered organisation.
Please we need sanity in this great forum.A reasonable and rational behaviour,an empathy for others which a forum like this crave for and it’s not something difficult to do if actually you both can look beyond your grievances and think of others who are disturbed by this show of shame you guys are exhibiting here!
Respect to this amazing forum of beautiful brains. Apologies for any offence to d house or to CSN. I have thoroughly enjoyed the banter but won’t wanna be selfish, so I ease up for now. But I make it clear I will never seize from speaking again any perceived evil however well decorated. Nothing will stop that. But for now I go coollllll like cucumber. God bless ALEXANDER THE KING IWOBI n other deserving Super Eagles players. God bless every participant on this forum and mightily bless CSN for creating this avenue to air our views. Thanks Greenturf, Destar, FrankL and other great contributors on this great forum. We are all from different backgrounds but one thing that unites us more than most is our love for The Super Eagles. This makes us to come here to share our ideas without the fear of being called ‘Mr Know It All’ or being called ‘shallow minded’ or being called evil agents.
I respect everyone here but MY BATTLE AGAINST BULLYING AND HARRASSMENT FROM A PARTICULAR FORUM MEMBER WILL NEVER CEASE.
For now, let the debates, conversations and dialogue continue.
NOBODY DESERVES TO BE HARRASSED SIMPLY BECAUSE SOMEONE HERE HAS EMBARKED ON A CRUSADE AGAINST EVIL PEOPLE SIMPLY BECAUSE IF THEIR OWN INSECURITIES.
I regret any offence my exchanges with Glory caused others here but these are what I choose to call ‘cruel necessities’.
FrankL, De Star and Greenturf, I will now listen to you until such a time when Glory embarkes on a campaign of terror on innocent victims.
Dennis is a good, skillful and enterprising player but he is also inconsistent. He could score a very good goal today against a top team and before you hear about him again its two months. He needs consistency and he also needs to move to a stronger league where he will be among top players. Chukwueze is in spain, kalu and simon in france. He needs to show that he can hold his own against the best in the world.
