Delta Force of Asaba (pictured above) and title holders, Cynosure FC of Abakaliki will get the third edition of the annual SouthEast/South-South Preseason Tournament underway Tuesday morning (August 20) at the Neros Stadium, Nanka,Anambra State Completesports.com reports.
A total of 19 teams, comprising five Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) sides; Rangers, Heartland, Abia Warriors, Rivers United and Delta Force as well as 14 other clubs are taking part in the 3rd South-East/South-South Preseason Tournament.
Organisers have placed the teams into three groups, comprising group A, B and non league teams group.
Three matches have been slated for Tuesday August 20, with Delta Force versus Cynosure clash as the big match of the opening day and kicks off at 10 a.m.
Two hours later, Nanka 11 will take to the pitch against Dosad FC while Vemad FC and SKE of Port Harcourt will clash at 4pm.
According to the fixtures released by the organising committee, there will be three matches each day till the end of the tournament on August 28.
