Former Italy international Bruno Giordano believes Super Eagles star Fisayo Dele-Bashiru will excel if played as an attacking midfielder.
In a chat with Radio Laziale via noibiancocelesti, Giordano stated that the Nigerian international can only play as an emergency central midfielder when players are injured.

“I think Dele-Bashiru can be a midfielder only in an emergency and is more naturally, as we also see with the Nigerian national team, a player accustomed to playing in the three-quarters, in case of absences in midfield he can be an alternative in case of various injuries.”
“He is a player inclined to play facing the opponent’s goal, he can be adaptable but Vecino can also play in the three-quarters,” he stated.
“It depends on the type of match and the choices the coach wants to make, the important thing is to have players who allow you to change.”
