Fisayo Dele-Bashiru says he is determined to make a positive impact at his new Serie A club Lazio.
Dele-Bashiru will spend the 2024/25 season on loan with the Biancolestti.
Lazio have the obligation to buy the Nigeria international from Turkish Super Lig outfit, Hatayspor next summer.
The midfielder expressed his excitement after linking up with the club and is looking forward to having a successful stay at the Rome-based outfit.

“I am very excited to join Lazio. It is a big club, with incredible fans, in a big city. I can’t wait to start the season,” he said at his unveiling ceremony.
“The club first showed interest in me in January, but at that point I was just focused on finishing the season with Hatayspor. Subconsciously, however, I already knew what I wanted and that this was the next destination.
“I hope to play as many games as possible, hoping to win some trophies and finish the season in the top four in the league table.”
Dele Bashiru added: “My idol has always been Yaya Touré. I consider myself a box-to-box midfielder, I like to run and shoot.
“This is why I have always been inspired by Yaya Touré, I try to replicate his way of being on the pitch. I hope that my characteristics can marry with Serie A. League One was very physical, with a lot of aerial challenges. But I think that in Italy with the intensity and tactics that distinguish every match, I can grow further. I can’t wait to get started.”
