Monaco boss Leonardo Jardim is considering allowing right-back Almany Toure to leave the club and join Cardiff City.
The 22-year-old has struggled for game time despite Monaco’s problems and has only appeared five times this season during Jardim’s two stints in charge and while Thierry Henry was at the helm.

The defender, who made 15 appearances in Monaco’s title-winning season, is out of contract at the end of the campaign and will, therefore, be able to move on for next to nothing, and so they might prefer to cash in now rather than lose him in the summer.
Cardiff manager Neil Warnock said after his side’s defeat at Arsenal on Tuesday he wanted to sign a “a couple of defenders” before the January transfer deadline on Thursday.
He said: “We need a couple of defenders to supplement the squad, because we are short in numbers there. “We are working hard behind the scenes to try and bring one or two in.”
