Cyril Dessers provided two assists as Genk thrashed Mechelen 4-1 in their Belgian Cup clash at the Luminus Arena on Thursday night, reports Completesports.com.
Dessers set up Kristian Thorstvedt for the game’s opening goal in the 2nd minute and also teed up substitute Theo Bongonda for Genk’s fourth of the night.

The striker was in action for 90 minutes.
His international teammate Paul Onuachu was an unused substitute for Genk.
Genk will now shift attention to Sunday’s Belgian Pro League clash Cercle Brugge.
