Business moguls, Aliko Dangote and Femi Otedola have promised the Super Eagles mouth-watering bonus for each goal scored in their remaining games at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt, Completesports.com reports.
Dangote has promised to dole out $50,000 per goal scored by the team, while Otedola pledged to give out $25,000 for each goal too.
It would be recalled that Aiteo Group, one the major sponsors of the Super Eagles gave the team $75, 000 for the three goals scored in their 3-2 win against the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon
The Super Eagles defeated the Bafana Bafana of South Africa 2-1 in a quarterfinal clash at the Cairo International Stadium on Wednesday.
Gernot Rohr’s men will take on the winner of the Ivory Coast versus Algeria quarterfinal clash in the semifinals on Sunday at the Cairo International Stadium.

I thank God for this people support to our SE and i know people like @omo9ija and @ugo iwunze will love to become super eagles, lol
Lol… Nice banta dia! @ubah
Ahahahahaha. Sooooooo funny. Ohhhhhhh yeah. God bless Nigeria!!!
They are donating money like pure water. Many people out there now haven’t eaten over three days, they will not give them money. Just to show off that they have money. No wonder we are seeing the likes of Akpeyi and co in our national teams.
Corruption everywhere and money changed hands. Shio. Only God can help this Country. They are given those who already in money more money to entice the coach and the coach will continue putting our best players on the bench. It is a pity. God bless Nigeria!!!
Breakn news @dr drey and me has promise to give @omo9ija $100000 if he stop abusing our coach Rorh
That is what you thought but far from the truth. Abuse kę?
Mba. Never. If I did not do that, Nigeria would have bn at home by now. Musa and Ighalo testified to that that we have been doing a wonderful job and we should keep it up we patriotic Nigerians. Sometimes, you have to face the truth.
We are playing in Africa not at the world cup and we want results and good football.
We should thank God and Madagascar for what they did when we played them.
So my dear ubah, I’m not abusing our coach o. You guys should stop using bad names against me. For that money hmmm, let the money goes to the charity house. Ire o. God bless Nigeria!!
U are my man bro.i thank God u understand that it was a joke, have a nice day
You need to rethink or re-adjust ur thinking bro, after reading most of ur comment on here . I could sence a bit of bias or maybe some1 paid you to antagonize the SE coach which I dont know. One thing I need to point out to you is this : Every coach deserves d the right to have his own style and tactics . rohr’s style might not go down well with u doesn’t mean he is not a good coach. Cos if truely u know alots abt football d way u sound am sure u won’t be behind that ur China fone and be writing rubbish. Just take a chill pill relax and wait for d outcome of d tournament. And to some fools that sees u as there god ehn , I pity una . stop hating . its a new age, every game with different approach and style
Dangote should public show of generosity; go to Kano and spend on the Almajiris and majority of Kanuwas who are in absolute poverty.
No No these players do not need the promise of monies now. There are other ways to motivate them just by letting them know that the whole nation is behind them as well as giving them insight of their opponent likely strategy of game theory which the coaching crew may have spyed already. However they can be rewarded after all even if win or lose.
Abeg is it your money? When them dey suffer they hustle, none of una dey dere, now they decide to spend their money the way they want and some people are complaining, at least dey are better than your politicians that steal your money and save it for their third generation, if you fill they are not touching the areas you want then hustle so you can do them yourself, they are doing the lot dey feel like and thats something beautiful.
Hi Mr Syracuse, reread the posts to understand the view. Nobody is against the donation but the timing. Pls during the first world cup qualification in 1994 in Algiers, during half time, Akinyele went to the dressing room with the same promise of money Westahof immediately asked him to leave at the end the boys got the ticket for the US 94 world cup. You sound so sarcastic as a typical Nigerian responding to public views.
This was what I was saying when the boys were protesting over unpaid bonuses.
When u do well as a team and win laurels, many of the corporate organization will always want to associate with you.
But first thing first is, show them what you can do, operation “Show working”
So that you will eat the players money, abi?
You that travelled to Egypt with your harem of girlfriends want to eat the players money while preaching ” show working” ,abi?
Na lie.
Pay the players their bonuses as at when due.
You the NFF officials don’t do no work,so please pay them their bonuses.
If donations come,good.
Mtcheeew!!!
Algeria?
Hmmmmmm
My heart is heatbeating fast!
I can hear the sound of my heart beat like…. Rohr, rohr, rohr, rohr rohr rohr rohr rohr rohr rohr
Chai!
Algeria
You are already having high BP because of the name Algeria, better not watch the match.
It is just a game, calm down.
#Iszy. You are afraid or what? I really don’t understand your exclamation. I believe you are afraid because of what you saw Algeria played vs Ivory Coast. Right? Stop being afraid. That was how South Africa played Egypt and they used all their energy. Three match energy for ‘s what they used vs Egypt and by the time it was Nigeria they were tired. Same with Algeria. They have used all their energy to play Ivory Coast. The wear and tear will tell on them. Bet me. So stop being afraid.
I’m so happy that we playing Algeria on Sunday. By God’s grace, it’s going to be easy an easy one. We know how to handle them. This Algerian team not used be like the one we played against during the world cup qualifiers. They are not that strong tactically.
I noticed something, they missed chances upon chances versus Ivory coast and they are going to pay for it against Nigeria.
Nigeria also have to take their chances as well. They need to calm in front of goal.
For me, Osemeh can get the job.
Ighalo should come in the second half for tactical reasons. Only if Oga Rohr can do that. He should please believe in these players, they won’t let him down. Age is a number.
The Coach didn’t not believe in Chukwueze until against South Africa. Please let the young players help you to achieve your goal.
The combination Of Chukwueze and Osemeh will finish the Algerian team before the second half. Plus Onyekuru, game over.
Listen to me Oga Rohr. I love you and I’m trying my best for you to win the tournament. We saw that Ighalo was marked down for 90 minutes against South Africa which I was expecting the coach to sub Ighalo for another striker but he couldn’t. I thought e kept him in the match for tactical reasons but on the other hands, he could have sub him.
Let Ighalo read the game in the first half.
This is where I always disagreed with the coach. His tactics is the main issue. He is humble, nice and easy going person which is helping him to deliver results. He should please add these to it, no late substitutions and wrong tactics and I will stop complaining no more.
I don’t hate you Oga Roh as your fans said. I’m trying to explain to you that we are Nigerians who knows this game inside out. We love football too much.
I love you and I wish you the best but that doesn’t stop me from telling the truth. I love my Country too much because that is my pride.
My advice to you all is this, let’s keep eating bananas because we were just beaten Bafana Bafana. We have putting them where they belong to. What a boastful team lol. Up 9ja. Up Super Eagles of Africa. Go luck Super Eagles. God bless us all. Ire o. God bless Nigeria!!!
lol this is the same Ighalo that scored the winning goal to give super eagles max 3 points against Burundi? is this the same ighalo that scored 2 goals and provided the winning assist to beat Cameroon? Mr man you make comments that make absolutely no sense. so you really think the Semi finals is the right time to start changing a winning formula and bringing in players from the bench with no tournament game time? you know nothing about football…..nothing
See person wey dey call for Rohr sack just a few days ago now claiming he loves him….LMAO
.
“He is humble, nice and easy going person which is helping him to deliver results.”
.
Na now your day break abi…lolz
One bad result now and you will start raining all the curses you learnt from childhood on him.
.
Human beings can lie o…! Fear human beings…!!!
Hahaha @drdrey our bro @omo9ija has repent so plz lets welcome him back.lols
It is not advisble to change a winning team at this crucial stage. Bringing in Osimhen and Onyekuru to start the match against Algeria is too risky a thing to do. One of them may come on after half time or if we are leading with a convincing margin, both can come on late.
Chukwueze played the first match against Burundi and have come on as sub in most other matches until the match against Bafana.
At this stage apart from using young players, the experienced ones are vital too.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! OMONAIJA
The good thing is that Oga Rohr is a doer and not a talker. Algeria will be a hard nut to crack, but I’m sure he’ll do it.
no strength for arguement… $75,000 is what am concerning about… if you like dont allow your child to keep playing football, be beating him or her when she comes back because that was what my dad and mom use to do in the name of education..
#SE make una win sunday match o 2:0
Hahahahahaha. I tell you@oluwagbemiga. I tell you. Making mad money the easy way. Absolutely crazy!
and again mr rohr, if you are still finding your first best XI player.. thats is your first best eleven you have use againt bafana bafana rsa …. because i notice say, you seem not to know the player to introduce for a match.
It’s Nigeria vs Algeria…
I therefore urge fans of both divides
1. The progressives (ably led by my homies Ayphillydegreat/ Dr. Drey) & 2.The Analytics (ably led by Omo9ja fc/ ugo iwunze) and all other elderstatesmen of our fanworld to rally their troops in one United front for the total Support our Golden Super Eagles… under the meticulous leadership of the incumbent Gen.Deo to win and celebrate together
Cheers!!!
We need Completesport App.
@Completesport find something to do about this.
OK! So Omo9ja can be positive in his life time.
Is that repentance or what?
A man I read his comment in response to so many unknown personnel and I was tired of any post of him.
Even if the Super Eagles win the competition and Sir u come back here painting them good_ know this for sure you have already stain ur name and integrity before so many “constant silent readers” and also great men who will love to correct you view per times.
May I say this @ Aphillydgreat, this is the man that as what it take to see light and brighter glory for any growing “person” like the Super Eagles of Nigeria. Pls sir, never stop your father like insight to see good things happening for our dear country.
I so much appreciate you Sir.
Nigeria 3 v Algeria 1
How many impoverished people are they – Dangote and Otedola – going to help where successive governments over the years have impoverished our people. They can only do their bit to help the poor but how many in essence. We are about 200 million people and I am sure more than half are poor.
Our government should create the enabling environment to mitigate our poverty. Will you say Nigeria as a country is not wealthy? The money is hanging with the high and mighty.
Our politicians should bring policies to eleviate suffering in the land and stop blaming philanthropists who are doing their bit at his time to spur our boys to victory. They too – our boys – can help the poor. Ighalo has an orphanage home and I guess some others have one project or the other to help the poor. Do you know how much these guys have suffered playing football prior to their elevated status?
Dangote and Otedola, please, help the poor but continue to spur our guys.
I hope it doesn’t become a distraction despite it been seen as an incentive. If the truth be told, do these players need this extra pay to win the Afcon? The streets are still littered with people who just need a fraction of this advertorial bonuses.
