Crystal Palace have been linked with a summer swoop for West Brom defender Dara O’Shea but other Premier League sides are also keen. The 20-year-old came up through the Baggies’ youth system but has yet to make an appearance for the first team.

The Republic of Ireland Under-21 ace spent the 2017-18 season on loan at Hereford Town, while he is in the final stages of a season-long loan at League Two outfit Exeter City this term. Born in Dublin, O’Shea has made 26 appearances for the Grecians, who will make the play-offs if they beat Forest Green Rovers in their final league game on Saturday.
The talented youngster has impressed and Crystal Palace boss Roy Hodgson is said to be an admirer of the stopper although he is not the only one. Bournemouth chief Eddie Howe has also had the player watched at times this campaign and it may well be the two clubs battle it out for the starlet’s signature during the summer transfer window.
