Fulham interim boss Scott Parker has revealed striker Aleksandar Mitrovic remains a doubt for Tuesday’s clash at Watford. The Cottagers could be relegated at Vicarage Road if they lose and the task in hand has been made potentially even more difficult with Mitrovic struggling with a stomach muscle injury.

Parker has admitted it’s a race against time for the Serbian and a late call will be made on whether the forward will be able to feature against the Hornets on Tuesday night. “Aleksandar has been struggling in the last few weeks,” said Parker.
“He featured for Serbia in the week against Portugal, he came back in and didn’t really have a chance to get right. “The turnaround for Tuesday is going to be a day-to-day basis. “We’ll try and get some treatment into him but really I couldn’t make a call on whether or not he will be fit for Tuesday.”
