Argentina’s captain, Lionel Messi, has revealed that he was angry with himself after missing his penalty against Ecuador in the Copa America.
Recall that Argentina edged Ecuador via penalty shootouts after the game had ended 1-1 after 120 minutes.
Argentina goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez made two saves during the penalty shootout.

Speaking to reporters after the game, Messi said he was angry after missing his penalty kick.
“I was very angry because I was convinced to take it that way if the opportunity arose.
“I had talked with Dibu and Rulli in advance,” Mrssi told the press.
