Nottingham Forest manager Steve Cooper believes Taiwo Awoniyi will emerge stronger form his latest injury setback.
Awoniyi sustained the injury in Nottingham Forest’s Premier League clash against Brentford.
The 26-year-old missed the Tricky Trees trip to Crystal Palace last weekend.
The Nigeria international is expected to be sidelined for around one month.
Cooper insists the Nigeria international has what it takes to deliver the goods for the club when he returns from injury
“Of course, it is a blow, he’s [Awoniyi] been our man up front,” Cooper was quoted Nottingham Post.

“He’s out for a month. He did it in the game against Brentford.
“He’s been injured before and came back really strong, so he knows he can do it. He’ll commit to that.
“We’ll get T into recovery and rehab as quick as we can. We’ll give every help we can give him, because we know his attitude will be great as he tries to get back with us as soon as possible.”
Awoniyi also missed few weeks of action due to similar groin injury last season.
The forward returned to spearhead Nottingham Forest’s Premier League survival.
He scored 10 goals in 27 league appearances for the Reds last term.
The striker has scored thrice and and provided two assists in seven league outings this season.
