In a move aimed at bolstering the performance of French clubs in European competitions, the Ligue de Football Professionnel (LFP) held a meeting on Monday, 17 March, where an adjustment to the Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) schedule was decided upon. The LFP has officially announced a postponement for the Parisians' fixture, allowing Luis Enrique’s side ample preparation time ahead of their critical Champions League quarter-final clash against English side Aston Villa. To facilitate this change, the LFP has rescheduled the Ligue 1 contest between FC Nantes and Paris Saint-Germain, now set to take place on Tuesday, 22 April 2025. Since FC Nantes is impacted by this alteration, the LFP also made a corresponding adjustment to their calendar: the match between Stade Rennais FC and FC Nantes, now slated for Friday, 18 April 2025, will have its kick-off time confirmed by the broadcasters later. Additionally, the game FC Nantes versus Toulouse FC, which is part of the 31st round of fixtures, will be held on Sunday, 27 April 2025, with the exact timing to be determined alongside the broadcasters.
