Former Manchester United striker Andy Cole says Aaron Wan-Bissaka will prove to be a good signing for the club. The Red Devils and Crystal Palace finally agreed a transfer fee on Wednesday after weeks of negotiations.
United will pay £45million plus a further £5million in add-ons and Wan-Bissaka is now just days away from becoming a Red Devils defender. The 21-year-old has had a summer to forget after being dropped by the England’s Under-21s at the European Championships, but Cole believes he will live up to his transfer fee in the coming years.
He told Sky Sports: “He’s a very good young player. He’s done very well considering he didn’t start his career as a full-back. He’s done extremely well playing there. “If you come to a club like Manchester United, no doubt he will learn a lot more and have the opportunity to play at a level that he would no doubt like to play at.”
