Watford midfielder Tom Cleverley admits goalkeeper Ben Foster has saved the club points this season on his return.
Foster rejoined the club where he spent two successful years between 2005 and 2007 as he helped Hornets win promotion to the Premier League.
He has been one of the most consistent goalkeepers this season as Javi Gracia’s men are eighth in the table with Foster having kept six clean sheets this season.
The latest of which was at the weekend when the 35-year-old made a string of impressive stops to end the game 0-0.
And Cleverley says his presence has been a massive part of their success so far this campaign. “I thought the one with his foot was unbelievably instinctive.
He’s a top, top keeper,” said the midfielder. “He’s a great character, he’s been an unbelievable signing for us and won us a lot of points.
“He’s one of the smiliest guys I know! You see his reaction after he’s saved it – he’s just smiling – he’s a great guy. “He’s great to have and he’s definitely won us a point.”
