Rangers manager Philippe Clement has blamed Super Eagles striker Cyril Dessers’ inability to convert two goal scoring chances against Celtic in Sunday’s Scottish Premier League game.
Recall that Celtic defeated Rangers 3-0 thanks to goals from Daizen Maeda, Kyogo Furuhashi and Callum McGregor.
Speaking after the game, Clement stated that the Nigerian international must learn to be clinical in front of goal.

He blamed Dessers failure to convert two goal scoring chances that should have put the team in the lead before the Celtic opening goal.
“We started the game really well, we had the best of the ball in the first ten minutes and got two really good opportunities, with Cyriel coming free in front of goal and with Rabbi’s free header there,” Clement said.
“So you need to be clinical in those games, and to come in front changes the momentum. It would have helped the team a lot to go in front there.”
