Motherwell midfielder David Turnbull is believed to be attracting the interest of Burnley but the Clarets will face stern competition. Scottish champions Celtic are believed to be monitoring the situation, while in the Premier League, Southampton have been connected with the Motherwell starlet this summer. Clarets boss Sean Dyche is looking to pick up some bargains in the Championship and the Scottish Premiership due to his limited budget at Turf Moor.
Turnbull could prove to be a real steal if Burnley can win the race for the teenager’s signature, with £3m thought to be enough to land the promising talent.
