Cardiff City boss Neil Warnock has confirmed Burnley are one of the clubs who have enquired about Real Betis midfielder Victor Camarasa.
Clarets manager Sean Dyche looks set for a busy end to the summer transfer window, with keeper Bailey Peacock-Farrell soon expected to be confirmed as a new signing.
However, it’s not just between the sticks that Burnley are looking to strengthen and the Lancashire outfit are considering a move for Betis star Camarasa this summer.
Having enjoyed a season on loan at Cardiff last term, Warnock has confirmed his former club Crystal Palace have been in touch to ask about Camarasa’s credentials but also that Burnley are considering a move.
Warnock said: “They (Palace) rang us up about him. “What can we say, we were gutted, really, but we gave him a good reference. “Burnley enquired as well, there were one or two clubs and I’m sure he’ll enjoy it.
He’s a good player, one of the best midfield players I’ve had under me.”
