Pep Guardiola confirmed his players would be allowed to revel in their success for a couple of days but promised they would be back in training by Wednesday. With the opportunity to become the first English side to complete a domestic treble of Premier League, League Cup and FA Cup, Kompany insists they will be ready to go again at Wembley.
“It’s everything Watford from Wednesday,” Kompany said. “I can’t even tell you how much I’m motivated to win against Watford. I know players and fans will think City are celebrating now and we can catch them off guard, but I can promise you the opposite. “I can’t wait for Wednesday and telling the guys to go again. “Hopefully we’ll get Raheem at his best, Kevin De Bruyne at his best, Kun Aguero at his best. These guys can make it happen for us.”
