Manchester City remain favourites to sign teenage midfielder Ilaix Moriba from Barcelona, despite rival interest from Chelsea.
Sport claim Chelsea have made a late entry into the race for the midfielder, who has just turned 16, and recently agreed terms with the player’s agent.

Barcelona still hope to convince Moriba, who has been likened to Paul Pogba in terms of his playing style, to stay at the Camp Nou but the money on offer elsewhere is greater.
And, despite Catalan radio and Mundo Deportivo claiming Moriba will stay with the club, the other main football newspaper in Barcelona claims City are still in pole position to make the signing.
Moriba has been dropped from the Juvenil A squad at Barca until his contract situation has been resolved and all the reports agree that a final decision will be taken shortly.
