Manchester City defender Tosin Adarabioyo is reportedly set to link up with Blackburn on a season-long loan. The 21-year-old is highly regarded by coaching staff at the Etihad but they don’t believe he is ready to challenge for regular first-team football. He impressed last term in the Championship with West Brom, playing 23 times, as the Baggies reached the playoffs.
Pep Guardiola feels another campaign in the Championship is perfect for Adarabioyo’s development and Blackburn are set to offer him that opportunity. His ability to play at centre-back, right-back and right wing-back appeals to Rovers boss Tony Mowbray as he looks to assemble a squad capable of challenging for promotion.
