AC Milan manager, Stefano Pioli has praised Samuel Chukwueze for his impressive performance in the club’s Serie A clash against Fiorentina.
Pioli also revealed that the Nigeria international is fine now after his recent injury layoff.
Chukwueze was in action for the entire 90 minutes in Milan’s 1-0 win at the Guiseppe Meaza Stadium, San Siro last Saturday.
The 24-year-old is also expected to start the Rooseneri’s UEFA Champions League home clash with Borussia Dortmund on Tuesday.
Pioli responded when asked how he could get the best of the player :“I was happy with his (Chukwueze) performance on Saturday.
“He worked a lot for the team, he found himself in the right positions. He also had a difficult start due to an injury. Now in my opinion he’s fine.
“Maybe he’ll come in a little further in the pitch, more in the heart of the game, but it depends on how we play and the combinations with Calabria.”
The winger joined AC Milan from LaLiga club, Villarreal in the summer.
He is yet to open his goal account for Milan or provide an assist.
