Samuel Chukwueze was named man of the match in Villarreal’s 2-0 home defeat to Atletico Madrid at the Estadio de la Ceramica on Sunday, reports Completesports.com.
The winger featured for 90 minutes in the thrilling encounter.
Chukwueze was named in the stating line-up after Paco Alcacer picked up a late injury.

The 22-year-old had more successful dribbles (four) and created more chances (four) than any other player in the game.
The Nigeria international troubled Atletico Madrid’s defence and was unlucky not register a goal in the game.
Alfonso Pedraza conceded an own goal in the 25th minute, while Joao Felix scored Atletico’s second goal in the 69th minute.
He has scored once in 19 league appearances for the Yellow Submarine this season.
