Samuel Chukwueze will play under a new coach at AC Milan following the appointment of Sérgio Conceição.
Milan confirmed Conceição’s appointment in a statement on Monday.
“AC Milan announces that Sérgio Paulo Marceneiro da Conceição has been appointed as the Head Coach of the men’s First Team until 30 June 2026.
“The Club extends a warm welcome to Sérgio and his staff, wishing a journey full of success and fulfillment.”
Conceição replaced Paulo Fonseca who was relieved from his duties as head coach after six months in charge.
Fonseca was sacked following the Rossonerri’s 1-1 draw at home to Roma on Sunday.

The result left the seven-time European champions in eighth place in the Serie A table, 14 points adrift of joint-leaders Atalanta and Napoli.
Milan sit 12th in the 36-team Champions League table having lost two and won four of their six matches.
Fonseca was appointed in June to replace Stefano Pioli, who guided Milan to a second-place finished in the league last season and their first league title in 11 years in 2022.
