Ben Chilwell wants Leicester to rediscover the form that saw them beat Chelsea and Man City as they prepare for a tough run of games. The Foxes saw off top-four hopefuls Chelsea and then Premier League champions City in a four-day period over Christmas but have struggled since to replicate that form since.
Aside from an impressive win at Everton, Claude Puel’s side have lost to Cardiff, Southampton and Wolves in recent weeks, while they were also humiliated in the FA Cup when being dumped out by League Two side Newport County.
Next up for Leicester is a trip to leaders Liverpool on January 30, followed by a home game against in-form Manchester United (February 3) before a clash at Wembley against Tottenham.
Chilwell knows they must be ready for the challenge those games bring.
He said on the club’s website: “We’ve got three very tough fixtures coming up, but we said the same thing about the Man City and Chelsea games and we won both of them. “It’s a strange game, football. You can come to places like Molineux Stadium and have hard games and then play bigger teams and play better football. We’ve just got to work hard for them three big games coming up. We’ll give 100 per cent and come back confident ready for them.”
