Chelsea would host Ajax in their Champions League second leg encounter at Stamford Bridge. Both teams have six points each on the Group H table.
Blues started Group H with a home defeat to Valencia, but win against Lille and then Ajax have seen them top the table with six points.
With Valencia likely to win Lille in Tuesday’s other tie, whoever loses at Stamford Bridge is likely to enter matchday five sitting outside the top two, and facing a herculean task to qualify for the last-16.
While Lampard will no doubt remain frustrated with his side struggling to keep many clean sheets, Chelsea have been impressive at the other end of the pitch with each of their attacking players all making a contribution.
Chelsea have also not been at their best playing at home this season across all competitions, they have won three times, draw twice, and lost three times, but bounced back from a Carabao Cup defeat to Manchester United with a win at Watford on Saturday.
Chelsea have been boosted by the news that key midfielder N’Golo Kante is fit to face Ajax on Tuesday night after suffering from a groin injury while midfielder Ross Barkley and defender Andreas Christensen are still out due to injuries.

On the other hand, the only game Ajax has lost in the last 19 matches is the one against Chelsea. They have won fourteen and four draws in all competitions.
Ajax could welcome back Edson Alvarez to the starting eleven, which could result in star midfielder Donny van de Beek being pushed further forward.
Quincy Promes, who scored twice in the 4-2 win over PEC Zwolle at the weekend, could have to settle for a place on the bench.
Ajax coach, Erik ten Hag will have to worry over his team’s defence as they almost blew a three-goal advantage against PEC Zwolle during the weekend before going ahead to finish 4-2.
Qualifying for the last 16 of this competition would be regarded as another significant achievement for Ten Hag but he knows that registering maximum points at Stamford Bridge would put the club in a good position to finish as group winners.

Wow! Tammy Abraham is RED HOT, in reverse, backwards style. The guy scored an own goal today against Ajax. He grabbed another own goal last month as well. They should please remind him that his goals should be in the opponent’s net, not his team’s net ooooo!
@Pompei
