Chelsea goalkeeper Robert Sanchez has won the Castrol Premier League Save of the Month for September.
The Premier League announced Sanchez as the winner in a statement on their website on Friday.
It is his first Save of the Month award in the Premier League.
His acrobatic stop to deny Aston Villa’s Nicolo Zaniolo saw him beat other contenders for the award.

Sanchez showed quick reflexes to tip the Italian’s powerful volley over the crossbar.
He is the second Spanish goalkeeper to win the award for Chelsea, after Kepa Arrizabalaga claimed the prize in October 2022.
Sanchez topped a shortlist featuring five other sensational saves by goalkeepers across the month.
Tottenham Hotspur’s Heung-Min Son and Ange Postecoglou won Player and Manager of the Month awards for September.
Also, Manchester United Captain Bruno Fernandes won Goal of the Month for his volley against Burnley.
