Chelsea forward Willian is reportedly set to be handed a new one-year contract by the Stamford Bridge outfit.
Willian still has a year remaining on his current deal but he is set to sign an extension over the next few days to extend his stay until the end of 2020-21.
He has been in negotiations with the west London club over the past few months following interest from Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester United.
Chelsea previously had a policy of only handing out one-year deals to players over the age of 30, however, their two-window transfer ban has forced them to ditch that approach.
Reports claim Frank Lampard is fearful of losing senior players as he looks to ensure they can compete for a top-four spot in 2019-20.
The 30-year-old joined Chelsea in August 2013 for £30million from Russia side Anzhi Makhachkala, and has scored 52 goals in 292 appearances across all competitions.
