Chelsea could be back on the trail of Porto’s Brazilian left-back Alex Telles after sending a scout to watch the Portuguese club.
The Blues have been linked to the 26-year-old in the past and could be ready to make an effort to bring him to Stamford Bridge this summer, depending on the outcome of their appeal over a two-window transfer ban.
Telles is a consistent performer for Porto, who went to the top of the table following their 2-2 draw with Rio Ave on Friday.

Chelsea are in need of a left-back with doubts surrounding the ability of Marcos Alonso to fit into Maurizio Sarri’s system and Telles’ relatively low release clause fee of £35million makes him an interesting option.
Atletico Madrid and Liverpool have also shown an interest in the past with the Spanish club reported to be in talks with Porto as recently as eight days ago.
