  • Wny are we do fixated on Tosin Adarabioyo when other Anglo-Nigerian players like Chuba Akpom(Ajax,The Netherlands),Gabriel Osho(AJ Auxerre France),Elijah Adebayo(Luton Town, England),Odel Offiah(Blackpool FC, England),Tom Iroegbulam (Everton FC , England), Oladapo Afolayan (St.Pauli, Germany), Marvin Ekpiteta(Hibernian FC Scotland) have since expressed their readiness to represent Nigeria at full international level? We chase those that are not available and ignore those who are very much available for selection. Something is definitely wrong with our scouting system.

Russia-born striker, German Onugkha of FC Copenhagen, Denmark and German-Dutch right back Kingsley Ehizibue of Udinese ,Italy are also available for Nigeria. So also is Swede-Norwegian goalkeeper, Jonathan Rasheed of IFK Varnamo, Sweden.

Equally England-born goalkeepers like Owen Goodman,Ovie Enaria and Arthur Okonkwo will not turn down Nigeria’s call up. We are losing so many good players to foreign countries. Name them Noni Madueke,Caleb Okoli, Patrick Dorgu Destiny Udogie Michael Folorunsho,Joshua Zirkzee, Folarin Balogun,Eberechi Eze and several others.

Good-luck with England Tosin..Be honest with yourself you’re waiting for England call..Bet you fancy your chances with the three lions now you play for Chelsea..

  • Quotable quote from former Super Eagles captain,John Mikel Obi….
“I have talked about players not representing their African roots. We have had meetings with these kids and their parents. ‘Look, you are from Nigeria. Your dad and mom are from Nigeria. Why don’t you play for the fatherland.’ They say they want to play for England or France or whatever it is, and then they wait. They keep waiting and keep waiting,”
“When they get to 25 or 26, and they don’t get a call up from England, then they call Nigeria. We shouldn’t be treated like second options. We are not second options.
“If you decide you want to play for England, stick to it. Sit and wait. If you don’t get a call-up, you don’t get a call-up. But don’t wait until you’re 29 or 30 and past your best; then, you call the Nigerian FA to tell them you’re ready to play for them.”

Is Mikel Obi right after all?

Do our foreign born footballers chose Nigeria as second option?

Ehen? If dey do nko? what do your Nigerian does for these pipo? Or are yu yurself nt a Nigeria? We yuh not japa if yuh got opportunity or you we remain in that place with no light, no respect, no food, no nuthing? one of the worst country in Africa! Mshceww ! noinsense!

  • Tosin wants to use Nigeria as bait for Three lions call. That’s his intention. Nigeria has many good defenders waiting for call up to done green and white jersey. Best of luck to Tosin while waiting endlessly for England

At 27, you’re yet to decide your international future. Ok p

21 yes, 23 yes…..even at 25, yes……but anyone who waits till he’s 27 years old or above before deciding his international future does not deserve our Green and White jersey.

Osho and Igor Ogbu are there for the taking. Akpoguma’s potentials have not been well tapped yet. There’s also Olisah Ndah who seems to be approaching his peak now and can be an emergency fallback plan.

Tosin can continue to “contemplate” his international future. I think I’ve had enough of his gimmicks now. I doubt that’s what he will tell England selectors if he’s called up tomorrow.

Come make we manage you, improve your career profile e dey do yanga oloje. I’m struggling to see from his game why he really thinks he stands a chance with England….LMAOoo. This is a dude that will still struggle to adjust to the Nigerian/African environment for at least a year after his debut.

If at 27 you are yet to decide your international future then you arent serious. What have you been doing all your life…?!
