Chelsea will attempt to sign Marseille defender Boubacar Kamara, should their transfer ban be lifted, according to reports.
The Blues are currently under a transfer embargo for two windows following misdemeanours surrounding the signings of youth players from abroad.
However, if they are able to launch an appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport, they may be allowed a window to operate in while the legal process takes place.
Chelsea are making contingency plans in that case and one of the players they are reportedly chasing is the 19-year-old Marseille stopper Kamara.
The French youth international has played 35 times in all competitions this season for Rudi Garcia’s side and has been tipped to have a very bright future in the game.

Chelsea were reported to have sent scouts to watch him in their 3-0 home loss to Lyon last Saturday and have been keeping tabs on him for much of the season. Marseille are likely to demand in excess of 30million euros for the defender.
