Former Chelsea and Spain star Juan Mata has graduated from the prestigious Havard University.
Mata, who made the announcement on his Instagram account, studied business in entertainment, media, and sports.
His former teammate with Spain and Barcelona legend Gerard Piqué previously completed the same course at Harvard and later created his own media-football league, the Kings League.
Commenting on his graduation, Mata wrote on his Instagram account: “!!!!HAVARD graduate !!!!”
“Incredibly proud to announce that I have just finished the wonderful Business of Entertainment, Media and Sport program at Havard.
“Thank you @anitaelberse and the whole team for such an amazing week! I was surrounded by wisdom, great energy and fun and I couldn’t be happier to have met all my inspiring classmates. What a team!
“Beyond grateful for this opportunity to continue educating myself and learning from different industries.

Mata last played for Japanese J-League club Vissel Kobe before retiring from professional football.
The 36-year-old was part of the Spanish national team that won the 2010 FIFA World Cup and the European Championship in 2012.
At club level, he won the FA Cup and UEFA Champions League trophies in 2012 and Europa League in 2013 titles at Chelsea.
He left Chelsea for Manchester United in 2014 and helped the Red Devils win the League Cup, FA Cup and Europa League titles.
