This was disclosed by the Special Assistant on Media, Office of the Director General, National Sports Commission (NSC), Kola Daniel on Tuesday.
Chelle who doubles as the gaffer of the Olympic Eagles, says Ortega and Bright are some of the brightest young coaches in Nigeria with very impressive profiles and he is very happy to work with them.
Ozebagbe is currently the Technical Adviser of Premier League side Ikorodu City who narrowly missed a continental ticket on the final day of last season while Ortega is a Uefa licensed coach, trained by the Scottish Football Association. He is currently one of the assistant coaches with the Nigeria’s Flying Eagles Team.

A Nigerian answering the traditional Spanish name ORTEGA.
Abi is he named after the Argie legend ARIEL ORTEGA?
Interesting.
Ariel Ortega played in the 1996 Olympics, along with many big Argie stars like Hernan Crespo,, Claudio Lopez, Roberto Sensini, Roberto Ayala, Inter MIlan captain and legend Javier Zanetti, Jose Chamot and others. Unfortunately for Ortega and his colleagues, Nigeria no gree for them to win the Olympic gold. Na so we see am.
Nigeria have won every football medal in Olympic football for men.
1996 – gold
2008 – silver
2016 – bronze
This is the glittering legacy Nigeria possesses in Olympic football. This is why failure to qualify for Olympics back to back is so ridiculous. Chai, NFF Onigbese finished us sha!
Well, congrats to the appointees. If Chelle selected them, then we can trust that they are competent and capable candidates for the job.
Now that they have been selected, it’s time to roll up the sleeves and get to work. It will be a disaster if Nigeria fails yet again to qualify for the Olympics.
WE NO WAN HEAR STORY.
@pompei, did you know that majority of these agnetines were the one who formed their 2002 world cup team, infact the team was rated was rated above every other and tagged as the tournament favourite.
Yet eagles of then filled with new bee didn’t go down easily against the Agentina.
But what did we have today, mediocre players, players that remove osihme and everything will collapse.
