Ghana Black Galaxies defeated Togo 2-0 in a friendly game in Lome, Togo on Tuesday.
The game is part of preparations for their CHAN 2024 qualifier with Nigeria’s home-based Eagles later this month.
On Wednesday, the home-based Eagles defeated Emmydinho Academy of Lagos 5-nil.
Remo stars forward, Sikiru Alimi scored a hat trick while Samuel Ayanrinde of Shooting stars and Vincent Temitope of Plateau United added the other goals.
The Black Galaxies stopped the home-based Eagles from qualifying for the 2022 CHAN after winning via penalty shootout.
After losing the first leg 2-0 in Ghana, the Eagles won the reverse fixture 2-0 at the MKO Abiola stadium in Abuja before going on to lose on penalties.
Both teams also met in the semi-finals of the 2014 CHAN with the Ghanaians winning on penalty shootout after 120 minutes of football ended 0-0.
