The Super Eagles B’s NPFL stars trained under floodlights on Thursday.
Before wrapping up the session at about 7:25 pm, each of the 23 players took turns taking a penalty kick.
The first leg of the CHAN qualifier in Accra, Ghana, last weekend ended goalless. If Saturday’s return leg match at The Nest of Champions also ends in a draw, the two teams will resort to penalty kicks to determine the winner, especially now that the away goals rule no longer applies.
“We’re not saying the match on Saturday will end in a draw, oo,” Assistant Coach Fidelis Ilechukwu playfully yelled to the players during the practice session.
