Former Nigerian international Dimeji Lawal has advised the Home-Based Eagles to target early goals against the Black Galaxies of Ghana ahead of Saturday’s CHAN 2024 qualifiers.
Nigeria will be hoping for a win at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo after holding Ghana to a goalless draw in Accra.
In a chat with Completesports.com, Lawal stated that though the game will be tough, the Home-Based Eagles will triumph at the end.

“Nigeria vs Ghana has always been a tough game for both sides, and this one won’t be an exception.
“However, I expect the Home-Based Eagles to triumph over Ghana at the end of 90 minutes regardless of how tough the game may be.
“I see Nigeria qualifying for the 2025 CHAN tournament.”

Wat if the gana team makes used of the space left behind while the eagles are looking for early goals .they have to take the game to their opponent using the middle field and always come back to the middle to get the ball ..
The Eagles don’t have a team to win Ghana home stars. Ghana will win 2-0. Nigeria only defended in Accra and got a draw. They will be comprehensively dispatched on Satisfactory
So, why didn’t Ghana beat CHAN Eagles in Ghana, if “Eagles don’t have a team to beat Ghana” as you claimed @Henry R? If Eagles can get a draw in Accra, what makes you think, playing in Nigeria will give Ghana the advantage? Anyways the playing will be done in the pitch at Uyo and blind patriotism won’t win the tie!
