Josh Maja got West Brom’s Goal as they Albion drew 1-1 at Luton Town to share the spoils on Friday evening.
Maja now has eight goals in 13 appearances for the Baggies this season.
His Nigerian teammate Semi Ajayi was not in action due to injury while Victor Mm Moses and Elijah Adebayo featured for Luton
Maja’s magical first-half goal was cancelled out by Tahith Chong’s 60th minute strike.
The Baggies return home this Thursday, hosting Burnley and looking to end a run of five successive draws.
Carlos Corberán made four changes to his XI, bringing in Mason Holgate and Callum Styles for their maiden starts, as well as Jed Wallace and Karlan Grant.
The visitors were put under pressure during much of the opening period. Luton created their most notable chances around the midway mark via Carlton Morris and Adebayo, who both saw various efforts saved by Alex Palmer.
And while Grady Diangana did have a tame volley stopped on 43 minutes, it wasn’t until first-half added time that the Baggies burst into life.
A well-worked move involving Darnell Furlong, Grant and Maja let Albion’s No.9 get among the goals again, brilliantly backheeling home a low KG cross for 0-1
Uros Racic had a free-kick held when play restarted, however the next goal came from the hosts – Chong latching onto a loose pass and firing low past Palmer to equalise.
