Nigerian-born forward Eberechi Eze was on target for Queens Park Rangers who recorded a 2-1 away win against Stoke City in their Skybet Championship clash at the Bet365 Stadium on Saturday, reports Completesports.com.
QPR took the lead in the eighth minute through Jordan Hughil with another Nigerian-born player Bright Osayi-Samuel providing the assist.
Eze, a former England U-20 team player and onetime Millwall youth team forward, doubled the advantage in the 53rd minute after he was set up by Geoff Cameron.
Sam Clucas reduced the deficit for the home team 12 minutes from time.
Super Eagles and Stoke City midfielder, Oghenekaro Etebo, was not listed for action in the game as he has been granted an extended break by the club following his participation at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt.
Etebo is expected to resume training with the Potters next week.

Ebere Eze – I’ve been watching this lad for a while now. Good, skillful player. Can play as an AM or a winger.
