Chuba Akpom scored his 23rd goal in the English Championship as Middlesbrough were held to a 1-1 draw at home by Stoke City on Tuesday.
Akpom once again wrote his name into club folklore by scoring the 1000th goal from a Middlesbrough player at the Riverside Stadium.
The 27-year-old has now scored in three consecutive league games for Michael Carrick’s side.
The former Arsenal striker still tops the scoring chart after 30 league appearances this season.

Middlesbrough, who are third in the league table, missed the chance to go within a point of the automatic promotion places following the draw with Stoke.
Akpom opened scoring in the 23rd minute as Aaron Ramsey broke forward and slipped through Riley McGree and he put it on a plate for Akpom to score.
Stoke equalised on the stroke of half-time thanks to Ki-Jana Hoever who drilled in from close range.
