Nigeria defender Semi Ajayi helped West Bromwich Albion maintain their unbeaten streak in the Sky Bet Championship after bagging a late equaliser in the 1-1 draw with home side, Fulham, at the Craven Cottage on Saturday, reports Completesports.com.
The Baggies are now without defeat in their first seven Championsgip games of the season.
Frenchman Anthony Knockaert put the home team ahead in the 49th minute after he was set up by Ivan Cavaliero.
Ajayi netted the equalising goal for West Brom 10 minutes from time nodding home Matheus Perreira’s corner kick.
It was Ajayi’s first goal for the club following his summer switch from Rotherham United.
He has played every minute of West Brom’s Championship games this season.
Slaven Bilic’s men will host Huddersfield Town in their next league game.

It is now a well known fact . To be on 1st eleven team member of the super eagles of Nigeria. A player must be playing regularly in his club in Europe. Fifa.com
Abraham on fire
Rohr should utilise Ajayi a midfielder, his expression is second to non there on that department.
@Presh,I share ur sentiment. But u see Ajayi can’t be a starter for SE either in defence or mid field region cos of the so much option ahead of him.But this competition is very healthy for the Eagles and will only bring the best out of the team.I look forward to a time our bench will be as good as the starting eleven.God bless Nigeria.
Ajayi is an utility player. The most worrying part of SE is Ekong. Recent matches have really exposed his low defensive IQ, low passing ability and poor positioning.
