Austrian defender David Alaba has been ruled out of Real Madrid’s UEFA Champions League group stage clash with Napoli which takes place on Tuesday, October 3 at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona.
The aforementioned game is Real Madrid’s second game in the Champions League this season.
The Carlo Ancelotti led side defeated German outfit Union Berlin 1-0 in the first match on September 20 at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Alaba played only 41 minutes before he was subbed off for Lucas Vasquez due to a groin Injury.
Alaba joined Laliga giants Real Madrid from Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich in 2021.
Alaba has made one appearance for Los Blancos in the Champions League this season.
The 31 year old has notched one assist in eight games across all competitions for Real Madrid this season.
They are second in Group C of the 2023/24 Champions League with three points after matchday one.
