Casemiro says Paul Pogba would be “very welcome” at Real Madrid should the midfielder opt to leave Manchester United this summer.
Doubts have begun to circulate surrounding Pogba’s long-term future at Old Trafford, especially after the France international suggested last month that it would be a “dream for anyone” to play under Zinedine Zidane at Real.
Red Devils boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer remains confident that Pogba will still be a United player next season, but Real midfielder Casemiro has now added fuel to the fire by suggesting that the former Juventus star would be “very welcome” at the Bernabeu.

“A player of his level is compatible with any player in the world,” Casemiro was quoted as saying by Sky Sports. “We know he is a great player, but we cannot talk about a player who is not here with the team. “We know that if he comes to Madrid he will be very welcome because we know he is a great player.
“He has another very important match in the Champions [League] and he is thinking about that game. He is a great person and we have to respect him and respect Manchester [United].”
