It appears as if for Player of the Year award winner Etheridge that figure is £10m, and it remains to be seen as to whether or not such a number would put the Hammers off making a move. West Ham are on the hunt for a back-up to Lukasz Fabianski and have been linked with Etheridge on a number of occasions, although they may seek a cheaper alternative if Cardiff refuse to budge on their valuation.
