Wilfred Ndidi and Kelechi Iheanacho featured for Leicester City who beat Newport County 3-0 in the third round the Carabao Cup on Tuesday at the King Power stadium.
Ndidi was taken off on 74 minutes while Iheanacho came on in the 62nd minute.
A brace from Jamie Vardy (70th, 82nd minutes) and a solitary strike from James Justin (44th minute), sent the Foxes through into the next round.
At the Vitality stadium, Alex Iwobi could not prevent Everton from going down to a 4-1 defeat to Bournemouth.

Iwobi was brought on in the 52nd minute which proved futile as Bournemouth secured the convincing win.
And Frank Onyeka also suffered defeat with Brentford who lost 6-5 on penalties to Gillingham after 90 minutes ended 1-1.
Onyeka featured from the start before going off on 72 minutes.
