Holders Manchester United will welcome Newcastle United to Old Trafford in the round of 16 of the 2023/24 Carabao Cup.
The draw for the round of 16 was done after the conclusion of the round of 32 fixtures on Wednesday.
United ended their trophy drought last season after defeating Newcastle 2-0 in the Carabao Cup final.
The Red Devils thrashed Crystal Palace 3-0 on Tuesday thanks to goals from Alejandro Garnacho, Casemiro and Anthony Martial.
On their part, the Magpies had to do it the hard way as they pipped Treble winners Manchester City 1-0 at St. James’ Park.

At Stamford Bridge, Chelsea ended their poor run with a hard fought 1-0 win against Brighton and will host Blackburn Rovers.
Arsenal reached the round of 16 after pipping Brentford 1-0 and will be on the again this time to face West Ham.
Meanwhile, Liverpool will be guests to Bournemouth after coming from a goal down to beat Leicester 3-1.
Other pairing will see Everton welcome Burnley, Exeter vs Middlesbrough, Mansfield vs Port Vale and Ipswich vs Fulham.
